Kaiju Booska appears at the 2016 Densho Hall Terakoya: Shibuya Konnoumaru Densetsu! Monsters Donation Box set up to help fund-raising activities

On Sunday, November 27, 2016, the Ultraman Foundation set up Monsters Donation Boxes and ran fund-raising activities at the “2016 Densho Hall Terakoya: Shibuya Konnoumaru Densetsu” held at the Shibuya Cultural Center Owada (organizers: office SOMEIRO, Shibuya City).
In this event, the Kabuki Dance—a completely new style of traditional performance art, using the motif of the Legend of Konnoumaru, Shibuya’s hero, and starring Kabuki actor, Ichikawa Somegoro—has been performed every year as a self-initiated project since the opening of the Densho Hall. Kaiju Booska appeared as a special guest in this performance.
Continuing on from the previous year, a special “Ultraman Foundation” section was established inside the venue thanks to the understanding and cooperation of the organizers. Panels describing the Foundation’s activities and Monsters Donation Boxes were set up, and generous donations were received from the audience.

The donation received from the event will be used carefully to support children in need. We thank you and also hope for your kind support in the future.
